Architectural Building Science Develops the introductory knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts of applied statics and strength of materials as related to architectural design and building construction, including force analysis; relationships of stress, strain, and deformation; resultants and equilibrium of coplanar force systems; and analysis of trusses and frames.
