Students will be introduced to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a common and versatile tool used in professional settings to analyze and display data from a spatial perspective. This course will provide the fundamental principles of how GIS functions establishing a solid foundation for future GIS work. The labs are designed to reinforce the theoretical content, ensuring both a conceptual and functional grasp of GIS concepts and how to apply them.
